SharePoint 2010 version


It's very common task to find out the version of current SharePoint farm.

I typically use two approaches.

1. Simple PowerShell script:

(Get-SPFarm).BuildVersion

This command will return the following screen:



2. Go to Central Administration -> Manage servers in this farm and you'll see something like that:
